No, you do not need to belong to a labor union to join Mattel FCU.
Joining Mattel FCU is easy. All we need is a Membership Application, a valid US government issued ID such as driver’s license or passport, and a minimum $1 deposit in the primary Savings account.

Yes. As a federal credit union, Mattel FCU's member deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), which is the credit-union equivalent of the FDIC. Your funds are federally insured to at least $250,000 per member.
